There was a time in my life that I carried only a wallet which contained my some cash and my debit card. At that point in my life I proudly proclaimed, “I will never carry a purse!” Then, as I got older, I decided a purse wasn’t so bad. I thought to myself ‘look at all the things you can bring with you if you have a purse!’ I was known to my friends as being the one that had anything and everything you could possibly need in my purse. Camera… Check! Bandaids… Check! Dental Floss… Check! Medicine for every ailment from headache to upset stomach… Check! Maybe it’s the nurse in me wanting to be prepared for anything? In the last 16 months I’ve hardly carried my purse. I have transitioned to bringing the diaper bag instead. I am still prepared for just about anything, so fitting a lot of stuff in a small amount of space, in an organized way is extremely important to me. The Kalencom L.A. Diaper Bag fits all my requirements.
The L.A. Diaper bag is not only functional – it is also stylish! It features a big tassel, rivets, and elegant handles. There are dual external flap closure pockets that fits bottles or sippy cups. There are also internal slip pockets, where I’ve been keeping medications, diaper rash cream, sunglasses and sunscreen. It also comes with a matching zip pouch, an insulated bottle holder and changing pad. I love the size of the bag – not too big, but not too small. I can fit everything listed above plus lots of diapers, wipes, an extra outfit, bibs, burp cloths, blanket, books, toys, pacifiers and multiple snacks all at once!
My favorite features are the included stroller straps. The stroller straps let you hook the diaper bag onto the handle of your stroller to keep your hands/shoulders and the basket of the stroller free. I use them all the time when going for a walk or going shopping.
The price tag on the bag might be a little higher than you are wanting to spend, but I feel that for all of the included features, sturdy construction and stylish look, this bag is worth the price.

I had to check this review out because the picture didn’t look like a diaper bag but a nice purse. I am well past the diaper bag stage but I would get one of these for my own use!

This is such a nice looking bag. No longer do diaper bags look like diaper bags, they are multi purpose and so convenient. I like the look of this one and the style is great.
What a gorgeous diaper bag! I love diaper bags that don’t loomph like diaper bags. 🙂 My youngest is almost 3 and I still use mine since it just looks like a giant purse!
