Who doesn’t love having a brownie for dessert?! While perusing the recipe tab on Nutrisystem’s website, I found a recipe that took the Nutrisystem Fudge Brownie and gave it a fresh twist. They added a cool mint cream cheese filling that kicked it up to a new level of perfection. Would you like to know how to make one for yourself? Here is how you do it.
Ingredients
1 Nutrisystem Fudge Brownie
1 Tbsp. fat-free cream cheese
2 drops peppermint extract
½ tsp. natural sweetener
Fresh mint, minced
Directions
1. Mix together the cream cheese, peppermint extract, natural sweetener and minced mint leaves.
2. Slice the brownie down the center length-wise to create two long thin slices.
3. Spread the cream cheese blend on one layer.
4. Place the other layer on top, creating a sandwich.
After building this scrumptious treat, I think I will let mine chill in the freezer a while. This will make it like a crisp Andes Mint ice cream sandwich. Yum!

I love that I can have luscious desserts like the Decadent Grasshopper Mint Brownie while staying on track. Even though I will likely feel like I am cheating by having this treat, I know that I won’t be. Isn’t that great? When you don’t feel cheated out of good foods, you are much more likely to stick with a plan…it becomes your new lifestyle.

Hello, my name is Laurie. My family and I live near the Oregon coast. When we aren’t at work, in school, or on the volleyball court, we enjoy traveling, cheering for our favorite sports teams, playing outdoors, and checking off items on our bucket list. We are lucky in that both sets of our parents, as well as our siblings and their families, live within an hour of us. We get together often to help one another out, celebrate milestones, and go on adventures together.

What a great idea. We can do that when we are not on the Nutrisystem. I am sure my sister would love to have that. Thank you for that idea.
