I was sent Zits Eww and was compensated for this blog post. All opinions are my own.
It’s common to joke about how toddlers will play with the wrapping paper more than they’ll play with their gifts on their first birthday. Before then, babies often love to stare at the ceiling fan, more so than they’ll take interest in their toy keys or rattles. In some ways, the things that kids find interesting never stops surprising adults. One of those things that all kids seem drawn to, is things that are “gross”. Just looking at how many poop emoji items are made for kids is a testament to that! I can’t claim to really get it, but it does seem to be a pretty universal interest among kids. Along those lins, comes Zits Eww. These are essentially poppable stickers. You can place them on your skin, pop them (sort of like bubble wrap) and filling will come out. They make me mildly queazy, but I have no doubt that kids will find them funny and entertaining. I can actually understand it from a bubble-wrap point of view. My mom was active on eBay when I was young and I always tried to convince her to let me pop any bubble wrap that came in her packages, even though she wanted to keep it to use when she shipped items she had sold.
Zits Eww come in packages of 25, with a MSRP of $4.99, and can be found at Walmart and other retailers.
