For a long time I have known that dairy and I just don’t agree with each other after eating any amount of it I almost always was met with some unfortunate cramps and pain in my lower abdomen. I began avoiding dairy in most forms (except butter) and most of my family did as well since I was the one doing the cooking and shopping. Recently (within the last year or so) I’ve noticed my six year old son experiencing the same issues as I was when we did sacrifice and eat some dairy. I recently did some reading and found out our symptoms very closely resemble lactose intolerant (we haven’t been officially diagnosed). So I began cutting it out again almost entirely within the home.

What I found in that process was that so many snack foods have dairy in them. Extensively reading labels in the grocery store was increasing the grocery store time even more and I would often leave feeling overwhelmed at how many options there weren’t for snacks.
