Lets be real, shoes for kids can get expensive. Children grow out of shoes so quickly that it can seem like you’re buying them constantly especially if you have more than one child! Making sure you buy quality shoes can make that purchase a little easier as you know the shoes will last longer and be better for their little feet.
I received the JambuKD Everly and Talon for my 4-year-old and my 6-year-old. The Everly is on the larger side and I think it will be a perfect shoe for next spring.
The colors are super bright and the sole is about a medium flexibility which I am comfortable with at her age. The water-friendly feature of this shoe is also nice as my little ones tend to want to dip their toe in the water even with shoes on!
The Talon is a vibrant bright blue that my son loves. The shoe is on the more narrower side and is more stiff than I had hoped for in the sole department. I am not able to do the fold test with the Talon so unfortunately, my son doesn’t wear them due to that and how he said they “squeeze” his feet.
My son is incredibly particular about the way shoes feel on his feet and he’s tends to lean on a more loose and free feeling (think almost falling off his feet). The grip on the Talon and the Everly are both amazing and would be great for outdoor climbing and playing.

I love the colors. Both pairs look nice. I can understand your son’s preference, I like mine to fit the same way. I also appreciate they are vegan.

I think kids will absolutely love these. You are spot on about the bright colors being a magnet for these shoes. Super cute! If they where in adult sizes, then I bet I could get my husband in tennis shoes instead of old man loafers lol.

Love the JambuKD Everly shoe colors everything….. The price is kinda high unless the kids wear them a while or they can be hand me downs. My great niece is only 18 months and she is in a size 7 and it will only last a couple more months.
