We all know that feeling when we walk into our own home and realize it doesn’t smell the way you thought. Sometimes your house smells a little like our fur friends, sometimes it smells a little dusty and there are other times its smells like our last cooked meal. In our home, my husband and I’s bedroom is in the basement. There have been times our basement bedroom smells musty or like mildew. Given that we spend at least 8 hours of our day every single day in this space it’s important that this air is fresh and clean.

I received an Airdog from EdenPURE. The EdenPURE Airdog is an air purifier that cleans 300 sq. ft. in as little as 20 minutes. My absolute favorite part of the Airdog is the lack of filters needed. Something I really dislike about home appliances in general is the need for maintenance to keep the appliance at its best operation. Needing no new filters is my favorite part of the Airdog. The only maintenance needed for the Airdog is cleaning the filters as needed.
My mind is set at ease knowing that the Airdog has 5 stage air purification which flows in the following order,
1. Pre-filter screen
2. Kronos emitter wires
3. Ionic field
4. Collecting plates
5. Ozone removal
Remote control and smart phone app access makes adjustments from bed incredibly easy. If my little one is getting a bit wakeful I’m able to adjust the fan speed etc which I really like, although the machine runs basically silently. A child lock keeps little fingers from changing adjustments that are pre-set.
For the first couple of days my kids and husband kept walking into my bedroom expressing how different the air smelled in the bedroom. We all talked about how much cleaner it smelled in the bedroom. No longer does the air in our bedroom basement smell musty or typical to a basement it smells more like a fresh hotel room. I noticed that when the unit was left off for a couple days the basement smell came rolling back. I usually keep the Airdog running at night on its sleep mode and let it stay off or in auto mode during the day when no one is in that room.
The air quality indicator numbers are a pretty useful aspect of the Airdog as well, when I first plugged the unit into my living room outlet, the numbers read somewhere around 30 and in the green light, when I brought it to my bedroom in the basement the number shot up to 140 and red colored, within ten minutes or so the air quality indicator read 53 at a pretty steady rate and now constantly reads at about a 10. I love having a basement in the bedroom and now that I have the Airdog I can love my basement bedroom without so much worry of air quality.
I am a stay at home mother of two, who loves to create in every form, from cooking, to henna, to painting or sculpting, creating with my hands is my passion! I love to dance and let loose when the music flows right. Being outside is a special kind of therapy I think humans need more of as well as mindfulness! I love all things new and adventurous and am always looking to experience more of life 🙂

The Airdog definitely sounds like an amazing air purifier! I have always wanted to get one of these since we live in an old house. My son has allergies as well so I really think it would help. Thank you so much for sharing!

Airdog from Eden Pure would be perfect in my home or basement. We all have a lot of allergies and I am sure this would help. I do like that you only have to clean the filter also.
