Lovepop was founded by naval architects and best friends, Wombi Rose and John Wise. On a Harvard Business School trip to Vietnam, the two men discovered the amazing paper art form of kirigami and were inspired. They combined this ancient art with the sliceform structure used in ship design to develop Slicegami™, and Lovepop was born. Lovepop was featured on ABC’s “Shark Tank” and earned an investment from Kevin “Mr. Wonderful” O’Leary in 2015. Lovepop cards are beautiful on the outside, but are absolutely incredible on the inside. It’s almost unbelievable what pops up when you open the card! Lovepop has lots of exciting designs including pop culture options like Game of Thrones, Jurassic World, and Star Wars. They also have a great selection of Disney and Marvel character cards.
This past weekend was my goddaughter’s birthday party and I gave her a Lovepop card. I couldn’t wait for her to open it! I chose the card called “Party Cat” for her. She thought it was pretty neat! She had never received a pop up card before, and I think it’s something that she’ll remember!

Love that Party Cat card–so cute!! I’ve been working on learning quilling, so I can appreciate the intricacy of the paper pop-up designs in the Lovepop cards. What a fun surprise it must be when you open one of the cards!

I didn’t know Lovepop had Disney cards. My oldest granddaughter would love that Ariel card! The Santa with his sleigh card is fantastic too!
