Until recently, I’d been using the same wallet since 2015. I actually got my old wallet through a review, so I was able to go back and find out when I got it! For 7 years, it served me pretty well. However, it was starting to fall apart. Also, I had never loved the cash portion of my old wallet. It didn’t have space for dollar bills to fit without being folded up.
I don’t like paying with cash when I have to unfold the bills before handing them to the cashier, it just feels messy or something. So I decided to look for a wallet that would have space to fit bills, unfolded, while also having the space I use for cards. As a blogger, I end up with more gift cards than the average person. Plus, it feels like everywhere I shop as some sort of rewards card these days! So, I have a lot of cards.
I’m excited that my new wallet is the Levenger Carrie Cash & Card Clutch. This is a larger wallet, but it’s long and thin rather than bulky. Even though I use a medium-sized purse, I am able to make space for this in my purse without it being too cumbersome.
The wallet actually has several compartments that are large enough to fit US bills without folding them! When the wallet is closed up, there are two zipper compartments that you can access which are long enough to store bills. Or when you open the wallet up to reveal the card section in the center, there are pockets behind the cards organizers that are also big enough to fit cash.
There are six regular cards slots on each side, plus one side has a space for your license. This makes room for at least 13 cards, but there is enough depth in each pocket so you can put multiple cards per slot if you need or want to. I doubled up some of mine that I often use together like my regular insurance card and my prescription insurance card.
Honestly, this Carrie Cash & Clutch has more room than I really need! I like this though, as it means my wallet isn’t overflowing due to being stuffed to the gills. If you’re someone who likes to go out without carrying a full purse, this would work great as a clutch, as well.
The piece feels really nicely made. The closure says securely closed once snapped, the zippers feel strong, etc. It came in a Levenger box which would be perfect if you were buying from Levenger as a gift.

This is so cute!! The zipper on my wallet just broke and I know I need to get a new one. I like this option a lot. It looks like it would hold a lot and looks sturdy!

What a beautiful wallet, I love the size of it! I definitely prefer the long and thin style, like you I do not like having to fold my cash.

This is a really nice-looking wallet and I like how you can fit so many cards in it. I like being able to organize my cards and find them easily.
