Spring has finally arrived in the Pacific Northwest. We had a long and cold winter. I have lived here my entire life and I don’t remember ever having this many snow days. Now that things are starting to dry out and warm up, it’s time to pull together our spring wardrobe.
My daughters and I recently partnered with Carhartt. For our review, they sent us some of their new spring arrivals. I chose the Rain Defender® Lightweight Packable Anorak, Savannah wanted the Rugged Flex® Relaxed Fit Canvas Work Shorts, and Cheyenne selected the Carhartt Force® Relaxed Fit Lightweight Graphic Hoodie.
Rain Defender® Lightweight Packable Anorak features Rain Defender® technology, a drop-in kangaroo pocket with hook-and-loop closure, adjustable cuffs, a droptail hem, an attached adjustable hood with a hidden cordlock, and a center-front zipper with a kissing welt. Another neat thing about the jacket is that it has a zippered side-entry pocket that allows for the entire jacket to be folded into for travel or storage. The Rain Defender® Lightweight Packable Anorak comes in sizes XS – 3X and four colors.
Everyone needs a lightweight jacket. The Rain Defender® Lightweight Packable Anorak has a roomy fit without feeling boxy. It can easily be worn over t-shirts and/or sweatshirts.
Rugged Flex® Relaxed Fit Canvas Work Shorts are styled to allow for movement. They are made of durable canvas that has built-in stretch and a flexible waistband. Rugged Flex® Relaxed Fit Canvas Work Shorts have a utility band and large functional pockets. They are available in sizes 2 – 26W and come in three colors.

Force® Relaxed Fit Lightweight Graphic Hoodie is made with temperature-regulating fabric, with wicking properties. The sweatshirt has a relaxed fit that allows for movement. The Force® Relaxed Fit Lightweight Graphic Hoodie features a front pouch pocket with a hidden media pocket. It is available in sizes XS – XXL, and comes in four color options.

I really like the shorts that your daughter got! I am not a fan of shorts that are too short and would feel way more comfortable in this style. I have never had anything from Carhartt before, I will have to go check out their site, thanks for your review!

The hoodie looks exactly like the ones that my granddaughter likes to wear. She would like that it is loose-fitting, and comes in a variety of colors.

I love these shorts!!
We wear a good bit of Carhartt clothes around here since we work outside in our garden and with our chickens and dogs. I love the pants for my hubby and kids since they tend to be rough on clothes. I love the shorts you reviewed!! I’ve never tried Carhartt shorts, but the Rugged Flex® Relaxed Fit look super comfy!
