I gifted the other two sets that were sent to me, but I kept this one to put together myself. I didn’t time myself, but I’d estimate that it took about an hour and a half. I found the step-by-step booklet pretty easy to follow. Because these are orchids, they are pretty tall compared to most building sets. Primarily due to this, I found the finished product to be top-heavy. It can stay upright on its own but it requires that the flowers are angled just perfectly. Otherwise, it tips over. I would have liked to see this not be the case, so that the set could be left on display. With these being flower sets, I think people would like to leave them out as quirky decor. That doesn’t feel super practical with this set due to how sensitive it is to tipping over. I’ll also note that I didn’t include the loose pieces in the base, which would add a tiny bit of weight, probably. I just thought this seemed prone to making a mess because the pieces are so tiny. 

Other than the difficulty with getting the completed set to balance, I was really happy with this set. It was fun to put together and I thought it had a nice look once completed.
