Eric Girouard founded and is the CEO of BRUNT Workwear. After high school and working summers alongside his friends doing landscaping and roofing, Eric decided to focus on a college business degree. He stayed in close contact with his high school friends who continued and progressed in their trade jobs. Eric and his friends would get together and talk about how the clothing and boots necessary for working in the trades, just weren’t as readily available or weren’t as well made as they thought they should be. That prompted Eric and his friends to put their heads together to develop some solutions. …and boy, did they! BRUNT Workwear offers its customers a collection of products including boots, shorts, pants, beanies, t-shirts, hoodies, jackets, belts, and socks.

I had the opportunity to outfit my husband with BRUNT Workwear. I got him Performance Socks, The Shevlin, The Whitman, and The Marin. 

BRUNT Workwear Performance Socks are designed to keep your feet dry and provide all-day arch support. They have a seamless toe and a band around the top to hold them in a secure place. Performance Socks are available in sizes M, L, and XL. They come in black and Heather Grey.

The Shevlin is more than just a casual hoodie. It is made with a midweight fabric that is as comfortable as it is durable. The Shelvin has an oversized front pocket perfect for hands and gear as well as a hidden tech pocket for your devices. The hoodie material has been finished with an industry-leading DWR coating that repels water, mud, and oil. The Shelvin has a hard hat-compatible hood to shield the weather without sacrificing your safety. It is available in sizes S-4XL and five colors- Hunter Green, Navy Blue, Light Grey Heather (shown), BRUNT Orange, and Black. 

The Whitman pants are the answer to your wish for better work wear. These pants are constructed with four-way stretch material, meaning they will move with you and provide greater flexibility and comfort on the job. The Whitman pants also have a water-repellent finish to keep you dry throughout the day. They are reinforced in high-wear places and are abrasion-resistant. The Witman pants are available in waist sizes 28-42 and length 30-34. They come in two colors Charcoal (shown) and Brown. 

The Marin (Soft Toe) boots combine a classic look with high-quality and durable construction. They are designed to keep you comfortable, supported, and protected from the environment whether that is outside or inside. The Marin are waterproof, electrical hazard rated, sip and oil resistant, and they meet ASTM F2892-18 Standards. They are available in sizes 7-16, Regular width as well as Wide EE. They come in Brown (shown) and Black. 

I didn’t tell my husband anything about BRUNT Workwear before giving him his new clothing. As he unwrapped them I poured a handful of water on them. He looked at me like I was crazy! I said look, they’re water-resistant. He was amazed by how the water rolled right off the items without being absorbed. 

The day after giving my husband his new BRUNT Workwear, he left for a week-long hunting trip in Eastern Oregon. I thought he would wait to try his new clothing when he returned, but he asked if he could take them with him. The first night there it was 23 degrees and snowy. I asked him if he was warm enough. He said he was, and BRUNT Workwear kept him dry.

When my husband got home from his trip, I asked him more about his new clothing. He said one day, the group was going out and all the guys were getting on layers of clothing and rain gear. He didn’t. He decided to put BRUNT to the test. He said all the guys were questioning him. When they got back to camp later that day, he was still warm and dry. He asked me if we could trade out all of his work clothing for BRUNT!
