Here’s an important update for anyone thinking about buying these lights. The string itself is waterproof, but the power cord is not. When our power cord got wet in the rain, the lights stopped working.
We really liked how these lights looked and the atmosphere they created at home, so this was a letdown. We want to be honest, and it’s important for shoppers to know this, especially if you plan to use the lights outside or where they might get wet.
If you decide to buy these lights, I recommend making sure the power cord stays dry to prevent any problems.
