VICTOR tidy tower

VICTOR® sent me their tidy tower desktop organizer for review. All opinions are my own.

I’ve been self-employed my entire adult life. I feel so privileged to get to work from home, for myself. There are so many benefits of it for me, they far outweigh the downsides. However, there are some downsides. One of the smaller downsides is, my workspace is within my home, so organizing my desk at work also means keeping my home organized, and vice versa!

It also means that I’m responsible for my own office furniture or accessories, and figuring out what works for me. Recently, I had gotten frustrated with how I always have papers, a couple of notebooks, and fidgets sprawled all over my desk. I use these items very regularly, so it makes sense to keep them easily accessible. However, they really had no sense of order.

VICTOR® Tidy Tower Desktop Organizer came to the rescue! This tower comes fully assembled and is available in five colors. I went with black. It measures roughly 11 inches high, 13 wide and 10.5″ deep. I have a relatively small computer desk, I think it is 43″ across. This tidy tower takes up around 1/3 of my desktop space width-wise, so it’s not small but also leaves me space for my full-sized laptop, and a cardboard bowl that my cat loves to lay in (priorities, right??).

It’s made out of sturdy wood and is fairly heavy, but it has non-slip rubber feet on the bottom so if you place this on a smooth surface (like your desk) and it gets bumped, it won’t easily slide off.

The top is open but with a beveled edge, so you can store items on the top, whether for practical or decorative purposes. I’ve used the top of mine for a mix of both! I have a plant, my moss ball pet, and a ceramic penguin for decorative purposes. Then I also have some of my most-used fidgets, and some over-the-counter pain reliever currently as I’ve had almost constant headaches the last few weeks!

The next layer of the tidy tower is an open space that is perfect for printer-sized paper. Despite working online, I love to take physical notes so I often have scraps of paper with different to-do lists and reminders to myself. This paper slot is absolutely essential for me in helping keep my desk more organized by giving me a specific space for those loose papers. I also have two notebooks that I keep in there that I keep track of certain blog-related things on.

Moving down the tower, next are two drawers side by side. These are about fivce inches wide and two inches high, and quite deep. So, you can fit pens and pencils, or a whole range of other small office supplies in these drawers. Mine currently hold a combination of even more fidgets, some sticky note pads, some other odds and ends.

The lowest part of the tower is another drawer, but this one is twice as wide. You could fit more printer-sized paper in here, or most anything else as long as it’s not too tall. I currently have some lip balm in this drawer, but it’s mostly empty! It’s pretty impressive to me that this tower gives me so much storage space that I have more than I currently need! If I were using this at a traditional office job I might use it to keep a snack, tampons, allergy meds or other OTC items, or other items that I don’t really need to store in my computer/office space since I work from home.

Win it: Victor is generously offering a Tidy Tower for one lucky winner! This giveaway is open to the US and will end February 24th at 11:59 pm. Enter using the GT form below.
