JTV sent me a gold heart ring for review. All opinions are my own.
I’ve had an eye for gold jewelry since I was a little girl. I like some gemstones, but at the end of the day, I really just love minimalist gold jewelry most of the time. Even when I go with gemstone jewelry, I usually prefer really small stones. This isn’t always easy to find at some jewelry stores. A lot of jewelers focus on diamonds or other gemstones as the main focus of jewelry, and don’t leave many options for people like myself.
JTV is an online jewelry store that really has something for everyone. They have tons of gemstone-based options if you are that type of gal. However, they also had lots of options that stood out to me as a just-gold girly.
It took me a while to decide which item to request for this review, but I ultimately went with the 14k yellow gold polished heart ring. This is a solid gold ring that is dainty and has a heart with the center cut out. I often find that jewelry with hearts catches my eye, but I like really subtle jewelry. This ring was perfect for me because it has a heart, but it’s really dainty making it a subtle, sweet statement rather than a big eye-catcher. I have rings that I wear on both ring fingers and the middle finger on one hand. I thought this ring would be perfect as a pinky ring! It comes in full sizes 5-9. My pinky is about a 5.5 so I went with a six.
When it arrived, it was exactly what I’d hoped. Absolutely gorgeous, dainty, subtle, but so pretty! I’ve been wearing it on my pinky for a few weeks now and I absolutely love it. With it being solid gold, it has held up well to almost 24/7 wear (it does need removed or you need to wear gloves if you’re using bleach-containing products).
I’ve been really happy with my experience with JTV and will definitely be keeping them in mind for future jewlery purchases!
