Le Serey sent me their Sequin Shimmer Bracelet to review. All opinions are my own.
I love jewelry, but I go for pieces that I can wear 24/7 rather than matching different jewelry to different outfits. I like yellow-gold, and I like pieces that are somewhat minimal, yet beautiful. I recently received the Le Serey Sequin Shimmer bracelet. This bracelet is gorgeous! I’ve been wanting more gold-filled pieces that I can wear every day without worrying about them, and this one has been a great addition. I’ve been wearing it 24/7 since it arrived, and it fits my wrist with room to spare. My wrist is about 6.25 inches, and the bracelet is 6.5 inches with a 1-inch extender, so it adjusts easily for most wrist sizes.
The bracelet is $84 and handmade in the U.S.A. from mineral-traced, conflict-free gold. The links are 4mm, and it’s lightweight, so it doesn’t feel heavy on the wrist. The brand says it’s hypoallergenic and safe for sensitive skin. This is a nice price for a “staple” piece of jewelry that can be left on. In fact, there is a whole category of Le Serey’s Gold-filled bracelets that make great staple pieces.
If you’re wondering what gold filled actually means, Le Serey’s gold filled pieces include the following: each piece has 5% solid 14k gold by weight, pressure bonded to a durable core, with a layer of gold around 5 microns or more. That’s much thicker than standard gold plating. The brand says it won’t flake, fade, or rub off with normal wear, and that the pieces are water friendly, sweat proof, and tarnish resistant.
Le Serey also sells a matching Shimmer Disc Necklace. I haven’t tried it, but if you like the bracelet, it would be an easy way to build a set.
