The First Years Disney Baby Mickey Mouse Feeding & Activity Seat {Review}
I love including out littlest family members in all that we do. From the time they are just a few months old, we even try to keep them close to the table for family meal times. About their first birthday or so, they seem to be ready and willing to lend a hand in the kitchen even! Our kiddos have always enjoyed being the "dumpers" and "mixers" when I'm cooking or baking and I'm thrilled to have the company and help while I create our meals.

August tends to bring some really hot and humid days here in Minnesota. While it's great to get to the beach to cool down, it's impossible to make that trek every day that the weather is unbearable. So some days, we just hunker down, turn the air conditioner a few extra degrees cooler, put on a DVD, and have ice cream for supper! Hey, I have to be the fun mom some days!

Sleep.... It's a precarious thing when you're a parent. I miss it. I daydream about it.
