Before having children, I never realized how many pairs of shoes they would need! It's crazy how fast those little feet grow. When our first was a newborn, it was hard to find small enough shoes. As she grew, I was forever having to buy her new ones as she moved up in sizes. Now with five little kiddos, the ever-changing cycle of shoes, feet growing, and new shoes is quadrupled.

Once our babies start on table food, I pretty much eliminate all baby food (except breast milk) and serve them what we are eating. For most of our kids, this begins at about 9 months old.
