Sorry for the delay, the holidays were crazy and then I had internet issues last night and couldn’t load some parts of my blog. The winner of the 365 hangers giveaway is #19, Kristin

“entered charitable creations jewelry giveaway”

Congrats Kristin! I have emailed you.

Hi guys, I tried to pick a winner last night but to do so I needed to view the comments page for the giveaway post and it would pop up but never load. My entire computer seemed to be running poorly last night so I assumed it was my issue instead of an issue with my blog. However I got an email today from a reader who said she was having issues with my blog not loading as well. Is anyone else having problems? Please feel free to comment letting me know if you are having issues or if it's running Read more [...]

Merry Christmas! I know I need to draw a couple of winners but it’s going to get pushed back until after Christmas, as I won’t be online again until then. We go to four different places on Christmas day and get home late so we will be sleeping in the next day, but once I get up and around I’ll get a couple of posts in. Sorry things have been slow lately, they’ll pick up after New Years. Hope you all have a very merry and safe Christmas!

If you have little ones who are interested in animals, science or nature you have to check out Nature Pavilion. Their huge selection of animal and science related toys is really impressive. One of my favorite items is their raise an animal kits. They have kits for growing earthworms, tadpoles, ants ladybugs and more. Most any kid would enjoy watching an animal grow. They also have books, dissecting kits, pages and pages of stuffed animals of all sorts, and toy animal replicas. For review, I was sent Read more [...]

Ryan is a videographer and does computer repair. Both of these require him to dress up sometimes. He has four or five dressy outfits, but he sometimes feels like he wears them too often. To add a bit of variety, he likes to have a large assortment of neckties to mix things up. If you've ever shopped for ties, then you know they can get really expensive. However, if you just visit www.tiecoon.com, you can find much more affordable ties. 5 dollar ties? We can afford that even on our poor college kids Read more [...]

The gift guide has officially ended. I want to say an extra thank you to all companies who sponsored reviews or giveaways for my gift guide. It was only the second event that I had done, the first was way back in April. I was very happy with the outcome of this event where as the first one was a lot of work that didn't seem to pay off much. Due to the success of my gift guide I am considering doing more events in the future. Not sure on the specifics though. A week or so ago I reached 1000 followers! Read more [...]

I just drew several winners and one persons name came up for two different giveaway, so they would have won twice. However, they weren't able to win because when I checked their tweet links they had deleted their tweets. I'm going to give the person the benefit of the doubt, and assume that they didn't realize they have to leave the tweet up. If you delete your tweet, I can't see the tweet or confirm that the tweet was actually about my giveaway. Please leave tweets up at least until I draw winners Read more [...]
