Gentle cycle pads review
A couple of months ago I made the switch to cloth pads. I bought my stash from various etsy stores and somehow missed gentle cycle pads. I was thrilled to get an email from Cindy, the shop owner of gentle cycle pads who wanted to know if I would review her pads on my blog. Of course I would! One of my favorite things about her pads is the price. Most of them average out to about 5.00 but if you buy a 4 pack they are only 20, so just 4.00 a piece! I paid an average of 6 dollars a piece for mine. Read more [...]
glastor storage containers from tribest review
I was sent four storage containers for review from Tribest. The containers are glastor brand and are 4 different sizes. I have used these on a daily basis since they arrived. I'm not sure why, but I didn't expect to find these SO useful. The smaller ones are great for leftovers, while the larger ones are good for using in the oven for casseroles and such. My favorite thing about them is they are glass. So I can use them to store leftovers in the fridge, and when I get ready to use the leftovers Read more [...]
If you ever win on this blog and don’t receive your prize…
Please feel free to email me! I am sorry for not addressing this earlier, I guess I just assumed that people would naturally email me if their prize never showed up. However I recently heard from a winner who won months ago and never received her prize, and never told me until last week.
For every 8-10 giveaways I end, at least 1 time, the prize doesn't arrive right away. However, if you tell me within a few weeks of the item not showing up, I can contact the company and remind them. 99.9% of Read more [...]

*disclaimer, males or others who are offended or would prefer to not read about menstrual cycles and/or menstrual cycle products should skip this post*

One way is they are certified organic. Another way is their pads are not all in one. I was sent an Organic cloth menstrual day pad for review. Sckoon pads consist Read more [...]

buysoapnuts.com review and giveaway
If you've been following my blog for very long you know that green living and using eco-friendly products is important to me. You probably also know that I am in college, and so is my boyfriend. Meaning, we don't have tons of cash flowing around. So although I am always looking for ways to be green, I am always forced to decide if I can afford to go green based on the cost. Most ways of going green are expensive, or at least a bit more costly than the less eco-friendly ways. I love finding ways Read more [...]
plastic
I walk into the kitchen and Ryan is scooping food from a plastic container into a glass one. I don't really think over what he's doing but he feels the need to explain.
"Yeah, so your paranoia has gotten to me"
"My paranoia?"
"Yeah. I was going to microwave this, but then I realized it was plastic. So I searched for a glass container instead"
Yay! Now we just need to invest in new bowls/containers so that we have more options for containers to microwave in and so that we can get rid of Read more [...]

If you have my button, thank you! I appreciate it! However, I have 23 links to my old site and only 5 to my new site. So if you have my button and it is linked to 'www.emmysboosandrawrs.blogspot.com' instead of 'www.boosandrawrs.com' would you please change it over? If you aren't sure how to do that just delete it, come back to my page and grab the code that is currently over to the right. Both icons over at the right are now linked to my new site. However, most people who have the 'monster' icon Read more [...]
