As I kid I went through a phase of really loving the Ripley's believe it or not tv show. I was recently sent the Ripley's Believe It or Not Strikingly True book to check out. The book is really big, at around an inch thick and over a foot tall. There's a total of 254 pages. Unlike the tv show, everything included in the book is true or real. Did you know that the biggest limo in the world can carry 40 passengers and is 70 ft long? Or that there is a dog in china who walks on two legs full time? Read more [...]

This is a Sponsored post written by me on behalf of T.G.I. FRiDAY'S for SocialSpark. All opinions are 100% mine. Ryan likes convenience foods. He likes to eat when he's hungry, without having to start cooking an hour before he's truly hungry. Of course, there are only so many foods that can be made extremely quickly, so when I don't cook he ends up making a lot of sandwiches and other quick meals. TGI Friday's has came out with a line of frozen meals called T.G.I. FRiDAY'S “Entrées for One” Read more [...]

I recently was able to check out a frozen pizza from the Amy's Kitchen brand. I had noticed my local Meijer store carrying the Amy's brand, but I had never tried any of the items before. Of course, I've had a variety of frozen pizza in the past and so I expected this to be really similar. I like pizza, but in my head I separate frozen pizza from homemade pizza from restaurant pizza. If you haven't heard of Moon Dough, you probably haven't spent much time around kids. Moon dough is really popular with kids in a variety of age groups. I completely see why kids like it - it's a really open ended toy that lets them make whatever they can imagine in their mind. Plus, the various kits allow them to customize their play into themes and ideas even easier. The set I was sent to review is called ocean pals, and it includes tools that allow your kids to make an octupus, a turtle, etc. Read more [...]
