So many people have jumped onto the couponing wagon in the last few months. If you keep your eye out for a good deal, you're probably familiar with Kroger brand stores because they allow two coupons to be used on BOGO deals, they double up to .50 and they have catalina machines. So if you haven't already, keep an eye out on Kroger, and the kroger brand stores like Dillons, food 4 less, smith's and more. Starting today, Kroger is having a big savings event called the cart buster savings event. The Read more [...]

My awesome week in Northwest Ohio has come to an end. I have a series of blog posts coming up that will explain the trip in detail, as I certainly couldn't fit all the information into one blog post. However, I wanted to give you all a quick overview of our week as a bit of a teaser. Tuesday we arrived in Toledo to stay at the Park Inn and went out to Mud Hens baseball game. Our seats were fantastic and the Mud Hens won the game. From Tuesday alone, I had a great view of Toledo and the fun that can Read more [...]

Everyone wants their laundry to smell clean - but I personally prefer to have my laundry smell not just clean, but great! I always take in a deep breath when I pull my laundry out of the dryer. I love that smell. Is that weird? But I hate how I can pull out a shirt from the dryer that smells great, and fold it and leave it in my dresser for two or three days, and then when I pull it out to put it on, it barely holds the fragrance at all. That's why I've fallen in love with Downy Unstopables. If you Read more [...]

I was lucky enough to be invited to a tour for northwest Ohio that started today. I will be home sometime Friday afternoon. Between now and then I will be seeing all kinds of awesome sites in Northwest Ohio and taking lots of pictures so that I can share them with you. Today we went to Tony Packo's and to a mud hen's baseball game, both of which were tons of fun. I sincerely apologize to those of you who have tried to access my blog in the last week or so and have been taken to a wordpress log Read more [...]

This is a Sponsored post written by me on behalf of TracFone for SocialSpark. All opinions are 100% mine. Ryan & I have tried out several varieties of cell phones, carriers and plans since we started dating. From what we've found, family plans are great for households with 4+ people who need a cell phone, but they aren't very good deals for just two people. Many companies actually charge MORE for a family plan that includes 2 cell phones, than they do to have two separate bills. Obviously Read more [...]

You may remember me mentioning a tornado that went through my town a while back, that left us without electricity for five days. Then a few weeks later the hot water heater broke and we were without hot water for six days. Back when all that happened, I said something along the lines of "Well we are paying them to provide us with hot water, so we should get a reduced amount of rent this month, right?". I was mostly joking, but it sparked a discussion and it didn't seem so crazy that they might Read more [...]

If you've been following my blog for a while, then you know that I am a big fan of all the products I've tried from uprinting. In the past I have ordered canvas prints, business cards, posters and post cards from uprinting and they are all top quality products. I was so impressed with my canvas print from uprinting.com that I ordered one for my mother in law last Christmas, which she loved. Part of owning a blog requires a lot of time spent promoting, most of which I do online. However, it's Read more [...]
