My awesome week in Northwest Ohio has come to an end. I have a series of blog posts coming up that will explain the trip in detail, as I certainly couldn’t fit all the information into one blog post. However, I wanted to give you all a quick overview of our week as a bit of a teaser. Tuesday we arrived in Toledo to stay at the Park Inn and went out to Mud Hens baseball game. Our seats were fantastic and the Mud Hens won the game. From Tuesday alone, I had a great view of Toledo and the fun that can be had in the city if you stay for the weekend. So I was pleasantly surprised to spend all of Wednesday running around the area to all kinds of other unique experiences that northwest Ohio had to offer. We went to the Toledo zoo, the Toledo museum of art glass pavilion, the Toledo botanical garden and the libbey glass factory outlet. We were also invited out to the real seafood company restaurant but I came down with a bad migraine so Ryan headed to a nearby walmart to pick me up some medication and we missed out on the dinner.
On Thursday we were invited out to the ohio attraction that everyone in Michigan talks about – Cedar Point! I thought everyone had heard of Cedar Point, but my friend who lives out of state hadn’t, so in case you haven’t it’s the best amusement park there is. No really! It’s been rated as the best amusement park for 13 years in a row. Ryan had been to Cedar point several times before but we learned more about the park than we new before and I can’t wait to share it with you all.
Thursday night we changed hotels and stayed at a holiday inn which might just be my favorite hotel now. As you can tell, we did a lot in just a few short days and I have so many details to share with all of you about each of the places we visited, that i’m going to do a series of blog posts so that I can fit all of the information in without making a one million word blog post. Here are a few photos of our trip. We had a great time and are so thankful to thundertech, destination toledo and the coordinators for all of the attractions that we went to. It was a great experience and I am so thankful to have been invited along.

Wow sounds like you had a fantastic trip, I love Cedar Point & its less than hour away from my house, yet I havent been there for probably more than 12 yrs now I love it there, I love everything about it, my husband doesnt ride anything and the kids are grown & now go with their friends so unfortunately for me I dont get to go anymore, I do remember its awesome at night with all the lights, I know they have lots of new rides & bigger coasters now since I’ve been there, think I’m gonna start a campaign which includes lots of nagging him to take me since its been so long now,(maybe he’ll give in)
Cant wait to hear more details of your trip.

Sounds like you had a great trip. Our daughter and a group of her college friends went to Cedar Point the year they opened the world’s “highest” roller coaster. At least it was at the time. I look forward to your posts on your trip.
