I have an announcement! As of yesterday, I am officially a hedgehog mama. Hehe. I'm sure many of you have other announcements to make this time of year. A summer wedding coming up? A graduation? March of Dimes Crane Humidifier Silent Auction

Crane is a company that makes humidifiers, heaters, air purifiers and more. Perhaps they are most recognized for having adorable animal designs on their humidifiers. In a couple of weeks I'll be reviewing a Crane humidifier, but for now I get to give one away, because Crane generously donated one frog humidifier to be raffled off for March of Dimes. Crane humidifiers are whisper quiet, require no filter and automatically shut off when the tank is empty. These are a great alternative to over the counter Read more [...]

March of Dimes Fundrasier

My town is having a march of dimes walk April 30th. I was planning on signing up with some friends and trying to convince my friends and family to donate. Then I was thinking that maybe I could use my blog to help out. I've seen other blogs have sponsors donate items for silent auctions for items, and then have the profits go to an organization of some kind. I thought about doing that, but I have no idea how willing people would be to participate. Another idea I had was to get companies to sponsor Read more [...]

Yantra Acupressure Mat Review and Giveaway *us/canada*

I'm a natural worrier. When I first heard about acupressure and it's potential for relieving stress, I was very interested. I love natural techniques for solving problems, and had wanted to try it out. So when I heard that Yantra makes acupressure mats that you simply lay on, I knew I had to try one out. I received the medium sized yantra mat for review. When it arrived I was surprised by two things. The first being, how sharp the points seemed, and the second was how small the discs are. From seeing Read more [...]

Prom dresses by davids bridal

A couple of years ago when I was getting ready to go to my junior prom, I was so excited. I even joined the prom committee so that I could have my say in the decorations, the DJ and everything in between. However, once it got time to go dress shopping, I quickly grew discouraged. At barely 5 foot tall, I've always felt silly in floor length dresses. For the typical short person, a floor length dress can make you seem taller. However, when you're as short as me they just seem to make you look like Read more [...]
