One of my “guilty pleasures” in life is reading. For as long as I can remember, I was an avid reader. I can still remember my parents taking me to the library when I was younger and I’d load up with bags and bags of books. Then I’d drive them crazy spending all my time with my nose in a book. Even in school, I’d bring a book with me to all my classes and read till the bell would ring. I was definitely the book worm. Even now, I still love to curl up with a good book. So when I was offered the chance to check out the Love Inspired product line, I jumped.
I was sent 6 books from the Harlequin Love Inspired Series Line. This line offers love stories filled with faith, hope, and forgiveness. Lives are changed while wholesome love and faith is woven throughout each story. As soon as my books arrived, I grabbed one and started reading.
“The Doctor’s Second Chance” by Missy Tippens had me enthralled through the entire story. I am fan of love stories and this wholesome story drew me in and had me guessing how certain aspects were going to end until the very end. As expected, it did have a happy ending (yeah!) but not quite what I thought would happen. I finished this 218 page book in less than 24 hours and began my next Love Inspired story, which has been just as great so far!

I’m a city girl turned country by my awesome husband and we have three busy boys and two darling daughters. I love spending time with my family, reading Karen Kingsbury novels, and catching up with friends while our kiddos have play dates. I’m blessed beyond measure and can’t wait to see what God has in store.

I wouldn’t think of getting love and romance books like Harlequin for Mother’s Day, but it does make sense and they are affordable! I like they are Christian based and not trashy!
