Yeah, I’m excited about this one guys! I know that I have confessed to my readers before that I am a soda addict. However, I’m not sure that I’ve ever mentioned my true addiction – mountain dew slushies. I prefer using speedway gas stations simply because they have mountain dew slushies, where most gas stations do not. I can’t visit a gas station that has a mountain dew slush machine without buying one, I simply can’t. Because of my addiction, my mom once bought me an at home that cost something like 50.00. It was a thoughtful gift, but when put to use we realized that it doesn’t actually make a slush, instead it makes something much closer to snow cones, as the ice chips were much too large to be slush-like. It was all that I had for a long time so it was nice. However, it also had disadvantages like requiring an entire tray of ice cubes each time it was put to use, and making an incredibly loud noise when crushing the ice. So when I first heard about the , I was instantly interested. I quickly learned that the is a cup with three freezer cubes, which are soft ice cube shaped bags that contain some stuff, that freeze and then ‘melt’ into liquid. When frozen, you put them in the cup and pour in your liquid of choice. Then you put the lid on and shake a few times. The lid has a pin sized hole that you cover when shaking, and after 2-3 shakes you remove your finger to allow the carbonation to escape. Then you shake a few more times, remove your finger, and repeat until the liquid appears to be a slush material. This only takes about a minute. Then you remove the lid and enjoy your slush. The cup and freezer cubes retail for 14.95, which to be honest scared me a little bit. If this blizzie really worked, wouldn’t it be worth much more? Nevertheless, I knew I had to try this because if it really worked, I needed this! I was accepted for a review and anxiously waited for my more often) you can purchase 3 additional cubes for 9.95. I’ve had my blizzie for about 3 weeks now and I’ve used it at least once a day since then. Well, except for Christmas when we were gone most of the day. So it’s easily been used 30 times now and is still working great. The only issue I have had with the blizzie is the cup has a ‘blizzie’ label on the outside and due to the condensation that gathers on the cup, the label has started to wipe off. My only other tip for improvement for blizzie would be to offer additional sizes of blizzie cups. The current blizzie cup only allows for about 10 ounces of liquid to be made, which isn’t nearly enough for a slush addict like me. Of course, another solution would be for me to buy additional blizzies. I think I’ll tell Ryan I want another blizzie for Valentines!

This is a convenient solution to your slushie addiction. I am not a big soda or slushie drinker, but can see how this would be a big boon to you. After using it a few times, it has paid for itself. Good idea about providing different sizes.
