I’m sure you all remember the jada michaels giveaway I had just before Valentines day. I was also sent a piece for review, but I didn’t have it when I had posted the giveaway. So now we’re on to my review. I am in love! I received the madeleine bustier and it’s really a unique set. I love the bright pink which is hard to find in lingerie. I also love the playful skirt that is attached. The bustier is microfiber and feels silky smooth against the skin. The skirt is mesh which I tend to avoid because it worries me to have to hand wash but this outfit was too cute to pass up. It’s definitely worth the extra time and effort to handwash. The bra has an under wire and works well for me despite being small chested. The back is lace up, which gives you the freedom to tighten up the middle to pull in your waistline. I did find that the lace that comes with the set has frayed already, but it can easily be replaced with a string from somewhere else. I’m uncomfortable with my belly so I enjoy that this piece covers it up a bit without feeling like I’m wearing a granny lingerie set. In the middle of the back, the skirt gaps to show off your backside in a cute and not overly exposing way. I liked the look of this bustier with fishnet stockings as seen in the photo on the model so I purchased some and I thought they went well. With the black running through the bustier it would easily match up with any black stocking easily. Also included is a thong that has fabric that matches the bustier. It’s also really soft and comfortable. The tag for the thong is really long, something like 3 inches so I did cut it out. I ordered a small, as I fit a size small about 75% of the time and this fit really well. It did take some pulling and tugging to get the back to lace up tight enough that the sides would come together, but it didn’t feel uncomfortable or anything. The main fabric is %10 spandex so it definitely has give to it so you can probably order the smaller size if you are like me and sometimes fit different sizes. I really am just in love with the lingerie set!
