Capulet Kids: European Tags Kids Boutique Review + Giveaway
Do you ever go shopping and feel like all the children’s clothing hanging on the racks at the big box stores looks the same? I love discovering pieces that are cute and practical but also have those special details that make them stand out. Capulet Kids checks all those boxes with a collection of beautiful boutique children’s clothing from European and American labels. I recently had the opportunity to check out a variety of pieces from Capulet Kids for our preschooler, along with a skirt for our middle daughter, and we are LOVING the fun designs, quality fabrics, and unique styles.
Meet Capulet Kids
Capulet Kids is an online children’s clothing boutique based in Clinton Hill, Brooklyn. They offer clothing for little ones from newborn through age six, along with select pieces in larger sizes. What really caught my attention is the selection of brands. Instead of the same styles you see everywhere, Capulet Kids carries smaller European labels alongside a handful of American brands. Their inventory consists of the labels’ own past-season stock that is still brand new with tags. This allows Capulet Kids to offer boutique-quality pieces at prices considerably lower than their original retail prices.
Why European Kids’ Clothing?
One of the biggest differences Capulet Kids highlights is quality. These aren’t the thin cotton pieces you might expect from inexpensive children’s clothing. Many of the brands use heavier cottons, sturdy seams, soft knits, and fabrics designed to hold up to real life with kids. Capulet Kids also carries an impressive variety of labels. You’ll find a lot of variety including: Imps & Elfs, MarMar Copenhagen, Soft Gallery, Konges Sløjd, Repose AMS, Tocoto Vintage, Colmar, 3 Pommes, 1 + in the Family, little label, Aimama, Ander, and Zubii. With brands coming from the Netherlands, Denmark, Spain, Italy, France, Poland, the United States, and beyond, there’s a fun mix of styles to explore.
Our Capulet Kids Clothing Haul

For our preschooler, we tried several pieces from Aimama, including their Pink Floral Top, Eyes Sweatshirt, Yellow & Grey Nature Print Blouse, Ruffle Sleeve Striped Dress, Bunny Pocket Nature Dress, Orange Polka Dots Tee, White Rabbit Print Tee, Black Quilted Skirt Leggings, and an adorable Flower Knitted Button-Down Cardigan.
I love that these aren’t your typical children’s prints and designs. The nature-inspired patterns, stripes, ruffles, bunnies, florals, and playful pops of color give the pieces a whimsical boutique feel while still being completely wearable for everyday life.
We also received the Dadati Chiffon Ruffles Linen Dress in blue. The dress has such a pretty boutique look and would be adorable for church, family photos, holidays, weddings, or any occasion where you want something a little dressier.
Pieces Made for Mixing and Matching
Another thing I appreciate about this haul is how easily many of the pieces can work together. A cute cardigan can be layered over a dress or tee, while the tops can be paired with leggings, jeans, or skirts already in Ruby’s closet. The Aimama Flower Knitted Button-Down Cardigan was an especially fun find. A great cardigan is one of those pieces that can instantly pull an outfit together, and the knitted flower details give this one so much personality. I loved it to much that I snagged it in both the pink and grey colors!
Something for Our Older Daughter Too
While much of Capulet Kids’ selection focuses on younger children, there are some larger sizes sprinkled throughout the shop. We received the MarMar Copenhagen Heavy Cord Skirt in Night in a size 14Y for our middle daughter. I was excited to see an option that worked for an older child because it gave us the opportunity to experience another one of the European labels Capulet Kids carries. The heavier cord fabric feels substantial and is a great example of the quality that makes these brands worth seeking out. And Lucy is super excited to have a skirt option that will work well through fall and winter.
Final Thoughts
Overall, we’ve been really impressed with our Capulet Kids haul. The pieces feel thoughtfully made, the designs are fun and unique, and I love having clothes for our girls that don’t look exactly like everything else in their closets. But because Capulet Kids sells past-season inventory, shopping is a bit of a treasure hunt. Styles and sizes can be limited. So when you find something you love in the size you need, I wouldn’t wait long before snagging. We really love their styles so if you’re looking to refresh a kiddo’s wardrobe; definitely check them out.
