I have fallen in love with an awesome company that sent me a shirt that I have fallen in love with. Klein and Lu makes clothing made of a mixture of organic cotton and bamboo viscose. Bamboo viscose is great because it’s better for the environment because it grows quickly making it sustainable. It feels GREAT against the skin and the fabric is wrinkle resistant and easy to care for because it can be machined washed and tumble dried. Klein and lu makes sustainable tshirts for men and sustainable pants and shirts for women. I was lucky enough to receive the karin tunic in black. I am in love! I love the feel of bamboo because it’s just SO soft and comfortable. However, with my experiences with other bamboo clothingthey tend to be kind of loose yet heavy, almost like the hem of the garment is heavy and so it’s being pulled down, yet the material feels thin and clingy to my belly and such. The Karin tunic is 70% bamboo and 30% organic cotton, and I found that it is an amazing combination. The shirt is super soft which I Love, but it’s not as ‘hangy’ and ‘clingy’ as my other bamboo pieces. The tunic has lovely buttons at the bottom of the arms, and the neckline plunges a bit, while remaining as comfortable as a t shirt. I’ll be honest – I’m all about comfort. I often wear t shirts instead of styled tops for comfort reasons. The karin tunic is a great mixture of comfort and style. The sizing is very generous, I wear a size small about 75% of the time, and a medium the rest of the time. I ordered a small and it is a tad large on me. I’m small chested and found that the neckline dips more than it should due to it being too large on me. To remedy this I wear a camisole underneath the shirt and that works great. So if you’re in between sizes you can order the smaller size without fear. The tunic is a true tunic, I don’t like how shirts are often listed as tunics yet when put on they barely come to the bottom of my belt. This tunic completely covers the back pockets of my jeans, but I am very short so it’d be shorter on the average person. I love how it’s really comfortable to wear with jeans yet for me I could also just pair this with leggings. Overall I really love my klein and lu shirt!
