I’ve always preferred salty snacks to sweet ones, and pretzels have been one of my favorite snacks for years. I love trying new brands and variations of pretzels, so I was excited to try out Pretzel Pete. Pretzel Pete makes a variety of nugget-shaped pretzels with flavors like Sour Cream & Habanero and Cheddar & Ale. Ryan & I were able to try out all of their flavors and although I had a couple that I didn’t care for, between the two of us we liked all the flavors. The only ones I didn’t care for were the ‘ale’ ones which of course, have an alcohol-like flavor. I don’t care for alcohol so it wasn’t a big surprise that I didn’t like those. My favorite was the Garlic and Cheese pretzels, which were really garlicky which I loved, but you definitely want to eat them at home or bring a mint along. I like hot and spicy foods, but only to a mild or moderate level. I really liked the spicy hot sour cream & habanero, but I could only eat four or five pretzels at a time and then I’d have to take a break because they were so hot. I still managed to eat an entire box to myself within a week or so though! Ryan’s favorite was honey mustard pretzels and he enjoyed the cheddar and ale ones as well. So between the two of us we enjoyed all of these.
