Every time that I get ready to buy Ryan a gift for something, I struggle for weeks over what to get. He’s seriously the hardest person to buy for. He is interested in computers, technology, video games, movies, etc. Seems how we have a netflix and amazon prime subscription, we don’t really ever buy physical copies of movies. We usually opt for downloadable video games as well, because they tend to be cheaper and the disk would probably get lost if we did buy a real game.
So basically every time I need to give him a gift I think about it for a few weeks, come up with nothing and then ask him what to get him. He swears that he doesn’t mind me asking what to get, because that way he gets something he wants and will use. I get that. At the same time, I personally love being surprised. Ryan is a great gift giver and often gets me things that I love, but I wouldn’t have even known that I wanted it. So that makes me feel even guiltier for being so bad with gifts.
We always used to go to this one restaurant for birthdays, anniversaries, etc. It was “our place”. When we first started dating we lived basically right next to it, so we could just walk the train tracks down to it. It was an old train station that had been turned into a restaurant. We called to make reservations on my birthday and found out that it went out of business. So we don’t really have any idea where to go this year.
Our (dating) anniversary is coming up in just under a month and I can’t decide what to get or where to go. I think I’m just gonna ask him what he wants me to buy him.

Hahaha. I love surprises so I “can’t” ever tell him what I got him. But if it was up to ryan he’d tell me before hand EVERY time. But he doesn’t because it makes me sad to not have a surprise the day of. LOL. We’re goofy that way i guess.

Don’t feel bad. I am the same way, lol! I always want to get my boyfriend, Aaron, something super spectacular.. But I never know what.
And when I do finally get a good gift for him, I always end up telling him. I can’t wait to see his face :p
