Owls are so cute and have gotten to be a really popular animal to find on jewelry, accessories, kids clothing and more. However, until recently I had never heard of owl earbuds. In fact, I don’t think I had ever seen earbuds made into any intentional design at all until I discovered the retractable owl earbuds from karma kiss. They sure are cute though, aren’t they? I was curious to see how they would hold up. I’ve went through probably 10 pairs of earbuds in the past year, as I use them a lot while online if Ryan is around listening to tv or if someone in the house is sleeping. I also use earbuds while listening to my mp3 player. I’ve been really surprised at how many brands and types of earbuds are made with really poor quality. I’ve had probably four or five different brands of earbuds break within a week of me beginning to use them. That’s really frustrating, for sure. So I was a bit worried that with these being so cute, they might not hold up in the quality department. I’ve only had them for about 10 days but they haven’t broken which makes them better than probably 50% of the earbuds I’ve purchased in the past. The cord is a little shorter than other brands I’ve used, which makes them unusuable by my computer because of where the speakers are located. However, they work great for using with my mp3 player, and have a retractable button that keeps them from getting tangled up if I put my mp3 player in my purse or a bag. The portion of the earbud that goes inside of the ear is on an angle which surprised me as I’ve never seen earbuds angled the way that these are. They seem to fall out of my ears about as often as your average earbud, but that is a problem I’ve ran into with almost all brands that I’ve used, so I assume it could be a problem with the shape/size of my ears. The sound quality seems a bit above average which I find nice, and a true music lover would appreciate that feature even more, I’m sure. These are pretty cute and decent quality and would make a nice stocking stuffer for the owl and/or music lover on your list.
