Mighty Nest was formed after founders Kristen and Chris Conn decided that they wanted to make their home a safer home for their two children. They initially started their research after their first child was born and they discovered that so many of the products that were on the market were potentially harmful due to the ingredients or chemicals used in their production. This wasn’t the case with just cleaning supplies but also items as common as bottles, diapers, and toys.
These discoveries lead to years of research into which products were safe to use, which ones should be avoided, where to buy the safe items, etc. Knowing that not everyone would invest that amount of time into their own research, Kristen and Chris decided to pass their knowledge on to other like-minded individuals so launched Mighty Nest.
The Mighty Nest website provides not only the results of these years of research on what is safe and what isn’t but it also provides you with a means to purchase these natural, organic and non-toxic products. Mighty Nest is not meant to scare consumers but to inform and empower them by giving them the knowledge to make a positive change in their lifestyle.
For our review, we were sent the Stackable Glass Jar (1 quart) with lid. We are currently using it for our coffee but I can see so many other uses for it. I know it’s air-tight because when I remove the lid, the aroma of coffee is released and with the lid on, I can’t smell a thing. Our previous coffee container was not clear so if never failed that I would remove the lid and discovered that we were out of coffee! Of course, that wasn’t the fault of the container but with this glass container, it’ll never happen!
I’m thrilled that the stackable jar is dishwasher safe also. The glass itself is made from soda lime glass and is lead and BPA free. The air-tight ring is also BPA free.
You can find Mighty Nest on their website, Facebook, and twitter pages.
Hello, my name is Laurie. My family and I live near the Oregon coast. When we aren’t at work, in school, or on the volleyball court, we enjoy traveling, cheering for our favorite sports teams, playing outdoors, and checking off items on our bucket list. We are lucky in that both sets of our parents, as well as our siblings and their families, live within an hour of us. We get together often to help one another out, celebrate milestones, and go on adventures together.

I agree with Sarah, I love that they are clear and that you can see what is inside! This sounds like a great company!

Those look like great containers

I am a big fan of containers that are see through. If I can’t see I either forget to use it or like you, we run out!
