Peace Love Mom was established in 2006 by a team of Moms who want to celebrate motherhood. These Moms came from a variety of backgrounds. They all had their own perspectives and brought their creative ideas together to launch this lifestyle brand company.
Every Mom in Peace Love Mom values and appreciates what being a Mom includes. They even have their own “language”. My favorite line in their “language” was….”We believe that motherhood does not define us, but that we define it.” I definitely agree with that. Motherhood is not a one-size-fits-all role. There are as many different types of Moms as there are children in this world. We all have our own ideas, belief systems and techniques. …and that’s where Peace Love Mom comes into play.
Peace Love Mom’s unique and creative line of clothing is sometimes simple yet there’s always a positive message. Whether the message is for Moms to be proud of their role not only in their children’s lives but, also in society, or for the children to have positive and happy thoughts. Today’s children are tomorrow’s parents and their beliefs are being formed every single day from the moment of their first breath. How they feel about themselves as they grow and mature could (most likely WILL) be demonstrated by the type of parents they are to our grandchildren.
I was sad when I noticed that the largest size of Women’s Peace Love Mom shirts was a 14 (2XL?), that doesn’t work for me. However, they were more than happy to send both of my girl’s shirts from their kids line. For our review, Savannah received the pink Happy Girl shirt and Cheyenne received the watermelon Happy Girl shirt. Both shirts are made with a 100% cotton tee that is soft and feels to be of high quality. The tee colors are beautiful and wash well. The girls enjoy the happy face graphics and say the shirts are comfortable to wear.
