As many of you know, Rubbermaid makes quality products that help us organize our lives and home so things can run smoother from day to day. For over 70 years, Rubbermaid has creatively designed products to help you in every room of your house, from storage totes in the garage to food saving solutions in the kitchen; they have a product for every need.
Rubbermaid recognizes that recycling is becoming a must in our environment. They have once again, put on their thinking caps to help us make recycling easier and more pleasant with a product called the Hidden Recycler. The Hidden Recycler can hold up to 5 gallons or 36 cans and has a machine washable bag that is made out of recycled materials. The bag can attach to the inside of your cabinet (with non-damaging hooks or more permanent screws) to help hide and collect recyclables. A durable handle helps you easily lift the bag and carry them to your larger recycle bin for pick up.
For my review, I received a Hidden Recycler. We recycle a ton of paper goods; I fill a 30 gallon tote about every 4-5 days. I knew that the Hidden Recycler wasn’t going to be a good fit for our paper goods but, I thought it would work great for our glass recyclables and it does. The Hidden Recycler allows all of us to store our glass jars in a convenient area until we are ready to take them out; it’s great! The only downfall of this product is the lid. Within 5 minutes of installation, our lid had broken. I honestly cannot say if this was because of poor design or if the girls (3 and 5) had somehow misused it. Even without the lid, the Hidden Recycler is a great tool to have in our kitchen.
You can find the Hidden Recycler on Rubbermaid’s website, Facebook, or twitter pages.
One lucky winner is going to receive their own Hidden Recycler. This giveaway is open to the US and Canada and will end on 4/30.
Hello, my name is Laurie. My family and I live near the Oregon coast. When we aren’t at work, in school, or on the volleyball court, we enjoy traveling, cheering for our favorite sports teams, playing outdoors, and checking off items on our bucket list. We are lucky in that both sets of our parents, as well as our siblings and their families, live within an hour of us. We get together often to help one another out, celebrate milestones, and go on adventures together.
