You’ve heard the saying “Necessity is the Mother of Invention”, well that’s how Puure came about. The founder was loosing out on some of life’s opportunities due to a chemical sensitivity to commercial bath and body products. Nothing like losing out on a few good things to make a person come up with a solution. The solution was that this enterprising person decided to develop a brand of products that were chemical free…in fact, they’re certified organic and only made with natural products.
Not only did a new product line of natural and organic items get launched, but also a company that prides itself on providing an excellent level of customer service. What’s even better is that you don’t have to look for these products at some out of the way store. All you have to do is check out their website and decide which products you want delivered.
For my review, I was sent the SKIP THE LOTION Body Shampoo and Lavish body Moisturizer. The body shampoo is pineapple scented and the moisturizer is green apple. I’ve noticed with other products that the scent that I smell is not always the scent that I’m supposed to smell. I’m sometimes baffled as to how the company came up with the name. Not with these SKIP THE LOTION products! My bathroom honestly smelled like a fruit basket! It wasn’t overwhelming by any stretch of the imagination. It was just right. I could smell it on my skin for a few hours after my shower but it wasn’t a smell that made people avoid me. It really smelled fresh.
Enough about the smell, you probably want to know how my skin felt. AMAZING! I didn’t feel oily at all. I almost didn’t want to use the moisturizer because my skin felt great after using the body shampoo. However, I wanted to give a full review of both products so I used the moisturizer. Boy, am I glad I did. It went on so smooth. It didn’t make my skin feel greasy or oily either; but it definitely made my skin (especially my legs) feel hydrated. When I got ready for bed at night, my skin still felt luxurious. It wasn’t dry at all… no flakes or itchy spots.
The only issue I had was that since there aren’t any bubbles when I used the body shampoo, I wasn’t sure if I was using the right amount. That’s not a problem with the product though….just the user!
