I don’t really wear perfumes too often. I prefer to wear essential oils and other natural scents. Mostly I wear either Nag Champa or amber resin. I have purchased my amber resin from Auric Blends in the past, but was not too familiar with their company. They have been around since the 80s and have made both natural and synthetic scents. The scents they sent to me are made with essential oils and other natural materials. It is the Auric Blends Natural line which comes in 4 fragrances that all cost less than $16. I enjoyed the scents of all of them and especially enjoyed that they had a roll-on applicator as so many perfumes/essential oils release too much oil since they don’t have this nifty addition.

Layla has a mixture of rose, sandalwood, and a bit of clove and is by far my favorite of the 4 which they sent me. It is very light and feminine without being too “girly” smelling for me.

Tara is also more on the feminine side and rather sweet smelling, but didn’t smell too good on me. However, it was my daughter’s favorite. It is a bit more fruity smelling. It has jasmine and rose, raspberry, and pineapple with an underlying hint of sandalwood and patchouli.

Pele was my oldest son’s favorite and I like it a lot myself. It is rather masculine and he says he smells like a hippie when he wears it, but around here “hippie” is certainly a compliment! It is kind of cinnamony with a bit of patchouli and vanilla undertones.

Siren was my middle son’s favorite and it does smell very good on him. It’s very lemony but that smell is cut a bit with some herby thyme and sage scents.

All in all, I would say anyone who likes natural, earthy scents would enjoy Auric Blends Naturals products. They are relatively inexpensive and are of a very high quality while also being handcrafted.

Layla sounds like it would be my favorite too. Old Spice had a perfume out in the early 70’s that I loved. This sounds similar to it. Thanks for the review.
