With advances in technology, people are using their laptops for longer periods at a time and in more casual settings. Unfortunately, this can be hard on your laptop and your lap (or other work surface). Without proper air circulation, your laptop can radiate high temperatures that could be damaging to your computer battery and your lap.
Xpad4Laptop designed a product that protects both your computer and your lap; it helps cool your laptop by up to 30 degrees and your lap by 60 degrees! For my review, I received the Xpad Slim. The Xpad Slim has a Universal Fit for laptops up to 17″ in size.
Xpad Slim offers a unique laptop cooling system. Xpad Slim uses a special rubber no-slip grid, to safely lift your laptop off whatever type of surface it’s on and allow for a natural cooling airflow to circulate around your laptop. There are no fans so there will be no wear and tear on your USB port. I have noticed that my laptop battery seems to be holding a charge about twice as long as it use to prior to using the Xpad Slim.
Xpad Slim also provides an insulated heat shield to protect your lap or work surface from the heat that your laptop generates. I love using my computer on the couch while I enjoy a cup of coffee and, at times, my laptop would get so hot that it actually would burn my lap. With the Xpad Slim, the surface resting on my lap stays safely at room temperature.
I really like the Xpad Slim. It is light in weight and has a thin design making it super portable. No matter where I am, I use my Xpad Slim every time I use my laptop.

I got one of these for review like a year ago. It’s amazing – My laptop used to get so hot, but it stays so cool now :). The bottom black part of mine peeled off (because I slide it alot,) but still does the job!
