The BookWedge is a very creative and useful product that I’m surprised someone didn’t come up with years ago.  It’s so light and small and easy to carry even when fully inflated.

I’m an avid reader and recently started wearing bifocals.   I have the unlined bifocals and I find myself moving my head in different positions until I’m looking thru the correct portion of the lenses when I’m trying to read.  This quickly becomes very annoying to me.   I’m assuming at some point I’ll get used to them but until then, the BookWedge has become my savior.   When I place my book on the BookWedge it stays in that “sweet spot” that I need it to stay in, allowing me to read more comfortably.

I prefer to read paperback books or even an occasional hard back book and I quickly discovered that those types of books don’t work quite as well on the BookWedge as my Kindle does.  What I found with the paperback and/or hardback books, is that the BookWedge provides a great support for the book but it doesn’t hold the pages in place.  That’s not a big deal to me since I have to turn the page anyway but it was something that I noticed right away.   When I read using my Kindle, the bottom ledge of the BookWedge is more than sufficient to hold the Kindle in place.

We also discovered soon after inflating our BookWedge that it’s also great for the grandkids.  Their books are lighter and thinner so the BookWedge is a great way for them to read their books.  Our 5-year old Granddaughter said, “Now my knees won’t get tired when I read”.   Evidently, she would hold her books up by sitting with her legs in front of her and bending her knees so she could lean her books against them.   She was thrilled and what a great testimony that the BookWedge is great for all ages.

BookWedge is on facebook and twitter.

One lucky winner will receive a BookWedge; this is a US giveaway that will end on 10/11/12.
