Wonder Forge launched its product line in 2007 after several like-minded individuals banded together and decided they wanted to offer games to kids of all ages. These aren’t just FUN games; they are games that teach children to think independently as well as part of a team. They encourage children to take a leap of faith and venture out of their comfort zone. They also provide an opportunity for multiple generations to have some valuable bonding time.
I love watching children learn when they don’t realize they’re learning….and then that little light bulb starts to shine when they get to put that knowledge into action.
For our review, we received the Easter Matching Game that includes many Disney characters. This game is intended for preschoolers around the age of 3. What’s really nice is that if you have an independent child who prefers to play by him/herself, one person can easily play this game. It doesn’t require multiple players although it can easily accommodate them. This is a quick game to pick up as the player(s) try to match their Disney characters and the one who ends up with the most match pairs wins. All of the character pieces have an Easter theme.
We also received the Nickelodeon Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles Clash Alley strategy board game. This game is more challenging and definitely geared for a slightly older child of around 6+. There are instructions to this game so someone needs to be able to read and it does require some setup the first time you play. You will have great fun, running, leaping and climbing your way thru missions and attacks. I won’t tell you any more because I don’t want to give anyone an unfair advantage of winning.
Both games were a big hit around our house. It’s no surprise to our family why Wonder Forge has won many top industry awards for their games.
Wonder Forge games would be a wonderful addition to your Easter baskets.

Hello, my name is Laurie. My family and I live near the Oregon coast. When we aren’t at work, in school, or on the volleyball court, we enjoy traveling, cheering for our favorite sports teams, playing outdoors, and checking off items on our bucket list. We are lucky in that both sets of our parents, as well as our siblings and their families, live within an hour of us. We get together often to help one another out, celebrate milestones, and go on adventures together.
