About a year ago, I decided to make the switch from traditional OTC department store cosmetics to companies who offered safer make-up and skin care. I wanted products that were made with better ingredients. I wanted products that helped me look good on the outside and feel good on the inside. I didn’t have to look very far from my home to find Terra Firma Cosmetics.
For my review, Terra Firma Cosmetics sent me a generous collection of their products- Hydrasilk Loose Mineral Foundation, Natural Mascara, Shimmer Shadow, Longevity Lip Stain and BodyWash.
Hydrasilk Loose Mineral Foundation contains amino acids to moisturize and balance your skin’s ph. I received the Medium Beige color. While wearing the Hydrasilk Loose Mineral Foundation I noticed it has a light silky feeling that felt nice on my skin. The matte coverage lasted a long time.
Natural Mascara is designed for optimal volume and length. It contains proteins and vitamins to help give you longer, stronger and healthier lashes. I received the Bewitching Black Natural Mascara. I really like this think rich formula. It took me some time to get use to mascara that wasn’t waterproof but, I think I have it mastered now.
Shimmer Shadow comes in several colors. I received the CocoaBerry color. I think this name is a great description of the color. It’s a brownish purple with some added shimmer. I have worn this to evening events a few time. It goes on smooth and lasts a long time.
Longevity Lip Stain is created with fruit and vegetable colorants. I received the color Bloom. I like this fresh spring-like color. The Longevity Lip Stain last much longer than traditional lipsticks. It can be layered until it reaches the hue you desire.
BodyWash is made with Organic Oils and Essential Oils. They are free of sodium lauryl sulfate, Parabens, and Synthetic Fragrances. I received the FUNHOUSE BodyWash. I have enjoyed the FUNHOUSE BodyWash; it has a nice lather and smells great.
I think Terra Firma Cosmetics are a nice safe alternative to standard OTC cosmetics.
Hello, my name is Laurie. My family and I live near the Oregon coast. When we aren’t at work, in school, or on the volleyball court, we enjoy traveling, cheering for our favorite sports teams, playing outdoors, and checking off items on our bucket list. We are lucky in that both sets of our parents, as well as our siblings and their families, live within an hour of us. We get together often to help one another out, celebrate milestones, and go on adventures together.
