Thank you Terracycle for sending me samples, free of charge, for review.
All opinions are my own.
Our family likes to recycle what we can. When we are out on walks, we pick up litter as well. We all know how important it is for us to do our share and help care for the world we live in. There are companies out there who strive to help us along the way.
TerraCycle was founding by 20 year old Tom Szaky back in 2001. Tom was a Freshman at Princeton University when he began producing organic fertilizer in used soda bottles. TerraCycle is now a world leader in collecting and reusing non-recyclable used products. TerraCycle is working with over 100 brands in the US and and with 22 countries around the world to collect and repurpose used waste that would otherwise be thrown in the landfill. These waste items are turned into innovative materials and products that you are able to purchase online and at some major retailers. You can find things such as bags of all sorts, gardening items and tools, gifts, items for the home and office, pet supplies, toys, and Winter items.
I was sent an assortment of products including the TerraCycle Recycled Water Can. It’s sturdy and has an attractive design. Honestly, you would never guess that it’s different from any other watering can you can purchase. So I like the fact that I know it has been created with waste products that would have been polluting our planet had my watering can not been created. Our daughter really likes it too.
I was also sent the Recycled Plant Caddy. I was surprised to learn that it was created from used wrappers. It feels very strong and wheels easily. I am happy to not have to worry about carrying around my heavy pots anymore.
I will give you fair warning now though. As soon as our daughter saw this, she thought it was a toy and started playing on it. I had to explain to her that it wasn’t and confiscate it. So you may need to keep close supervision on your plant caddy.
I also received a bag and a pouch. The bag will make a perfect lunch sack and even has a handle with a clasp on it so I could attach it to a stroller, backpack, or bike. While the bag is not huge, it’s a great size for a small bag lunch such as a sandwich, chips, granola bar, and apple.
The small pouch has a zipper top and easily opens and closes. My son wants this because he has his first wiggly tooth and needs a place to keep any money that the tooth fairy may bring. Both the bag and pouch both feel well made and should last a long time.

I’m a city girl turned country by my awesome husband and we have three busy boys and two darling daughters. I love spending time with my family, reading Karen Kingsbury novels, and catching up with friends while our kiddos have play dates. I’m blessed beyond measure and can’t wait to see what God has in store.
