I received a Whitney Purse from Velvet Pepper for my review. All opinions are my own.
I love handbags. When I look for a new handbag, I look for size, storage, organization and style. I want a bag that helps me carry all my day-to-day necessities and keeps them organized. I am a busy mom with two little girls. I need a bag that keeps me going, but doesn’t scream “mom bag!” I love when handbags are fashionable and functional. I love when they make a statement and when they show a hint of my personality.
All of my criteria were met when I stumbled upon Velvet Pepper boutique. I was excited to review their Whitney Purse in brown.
The Whitney Purse has layers of textured fabrics. The ruffles and trimmings give the purse a whimsical appearance. The purse I received has neutral shades of brown, beige, creams and embellishments of gold. This color pallet makes is great for year round use.
The size of the Whitney Purse is large enough that it could be used as a diaper bag, work tote, weekender or handbag. It has 5 interior pockets including a secure zipper pocket. The exterior has a small hidden pocket on the front. I am going to be completely honest with you, the first two months I used this bag, I had NO idea there was a pocket on the outside. I didn’t know about it until I sat down to write this review. Now I use this pocket for my cell phone.
The Whitney Purse comes with a reusable dust cover to store your bag in. It also comes with A Velvet Pepper antique bronze pepper pull. This is great for those of us who constantly lose our keys. Simply clip the pull to your keys and set it on one of the interior pockets. Your keys will always be where you left them. A brown velvet Pepper Penny small zipper pouch is also included. I used mine for lip gloss, gum, floss, etc.
I love my Velvet Pepper Whitney Purse. It is a fashionable handbag that fits all of my needs.
Hello, my name is Laurie. My family and I live near the Oregon coast. When we aren’t at work, in school, or on the volleyball court, we enjoy traveling, cheering for our favorite sports teams, playing outdoors, and checking off items on our bucket list.
