These are my own honest opinions.
Built may have started out with lunch bags but they have so much more to offer now! You might have seen my review of their Baby Collection as well as my review of their Travel and Cosmetics bags. But that’s not all: Built also has many kitchen accessories including oven mitts, pot holders, pot handle grips, and lid holders.
For this review, I received 2 beautiful items: a Renzo Oven Mitt and a Pot Holder in Harvest Gold Stripe. I chose the same print but what is nice about Built’s new products is that they come in a variety of mix-and-match prints. For example, there are 4 red prints: Cranberry Red, Cranberry Red Leaves, Cranberry Stripes, Cranberry Damask. There is also the Harvest Gold (golden yellow) and the Sea Glass (blue-green) color combinations.
Like all Built products, both the oven mitt and the pot holder are made of noeprene, the wetsuit material. I like that the interior of each item is made of textured material made to resist high temperatures up to 500° F. The texture means that pots won’t slip from your grip. Another great feature is that they are designed to fit both hands. This is nice because you don’t have to look for which mitt goes in which hand. Neoprene is naturally stain resistant but you can always wipe it clean and hand wash it if needed.
Since I’m handling food with them, I am happy to know that all Built products, including my oven mitt and pot holder are tested for lead safety. They are also phthalates, PVC, BPA, latex, and vinyl free. My husband likes them as much as I do but for a different reason: they are designed fairly wide compared to our old mitts and are slightly stretchy so he can slip his hand in them more easily.

I love Built’s items! They are so bright and colorful, and made so well. I have one of their camera bags and a tote bag, and the colors are still so bright even after multiple washings. The tote bag holds so much, too!
I would love to hair a set of those oven mitts – especially since the neoprene keeps pots and pans from slipping out of your grasp. -
I love the color variety hear and it looks like it is well made and you could get a good non slip hold on the pan.

We need these badly.
We’ve been using kitchen towels to remove things from the oven and stove, which doesn’t provide enough protection!
I like these, they don’t look bulky like the traditional oven mitts, which will save space in the drawers and I can get a firmer grip on the hot pans
