Our master bedroom is easily the room I dread the most in our house. It doesn’t have that Zen feeling that I believe a master bedroom should have. Instead, it has an overwhelming gloomy feeling. It is cluttered with important papers, has overflowing storage issues and the décor is unattractive. It is not a place where I can relax and recharge my soul.

Over the next couple months, I am going to make a few changes to better our master bedroom. All of my changes will be made to make the room better for ourselves and also, to make it present better to future buyers. Our house has been on the market for a while now. I am hoping that these changes will help us get a sale.
First, I decided to get an area rug. I chose the Prestige area rug from eCarpetGallery. The Prestige rug is a low-shag construction. Its fibers are in neutral shades of beige, silver/gray and a creamy white. The area rug features different fiber textures, weaves and color tones to form a graceful rose pattern.
Our master bedroom currently has beige, blue and green colors. I am going to be changing the room to beige, gray and radiant orchid. I thought the colors of the Prestige rug were the perfect complement to my design plan.
Even though we have carpeting in our master bedroom, I find that an area rug gives the room an extra feeling of comfort and tranquility. The rugs soft rose pattern ads a touch of femininity and romance to our master bedroom.
The Prestige area rug was the perfect place for us to start our master bedroom makeover.

Nice rugs are so expensive but can really make a difference in a room. I just got a new runner for the hallway by my laundry area. I also need a big rug for our foyer. They just make a room feel so homey and put together.
