Pregnancy can be a joyous time.  Once I’m passed the morning sickness, nausea, and extreme tiredness, I do enjoy pregnancy.  Watching my belly grow and feeling the baby move or kick is one of my favorite times.  However, throughout all these changes, I have found that my wardrobe is in dire need of help.  Since this is our 5th baby, I am already outgrowing my “normal” clothes and transitioning into maternity.  My baby belly was already showing noticeable by about 14 weeks this time but I was able to hold off another couple weeks before looking for roomier clothes.  Then I came across Everly Grey Maternity and actually began looking forward to making the change.

I fell in love with the River Tank in Coral and Carrie Cropped Pants in White.  Since Minnesota weather can be so unpredictable, cool one day and hot the next, as Spring changes into Summer, I know I’ll get lots of use out of this outfit.  On cool days, I can just add a cardigan and I’m good to go.  The River Tank is generously sized and the XS I ordered is just starting to fit.  I actually think the design of this Tank will allow me to wear through the entire pregnancy as there seems to be plenty of room for my expanding belly.  The Cropped Pants are super comfortable.  The elastic waist sits nicely towards my hips and stays up well.  I was leaning towards the black since I have four other kids but took a chance and got the white.  They are beautiful.  So far, I’ve even faired pretty well each time I’ve worn them.  Although I do dodge our youngest if he comes at me with dirty hands!  Thankfully, they have washed up well from what he still manages to get on me.

This outfit is my favorite maternity outfit I own.  It’s comfortable, stylish, and classy.  I can wear it to church on Sunday or running errands around town.  Either way, stepping out in Everly Grey makes a great fashion statement.  They have a nice selection of tops, bottoms, and dresses to accommodate styles and preferences and  I would love to see them come out with some capri style bottoms for this Summer.
