When our second child started walking, we searched high and low for a pair of shoes that would fit his chubby feet.  I had my mind set that I wanted soft, flexible soles because I had seen research reports on that being an important feature for growing feet.  To our dismay, we spent hours upon hours visiting every store imaginable in our town that day to no avail.  Eventually, we settled on a pair of sneakers (with a solid sole) from a local sporting goods store as a last resort.  Not only was I not thrilled with what we ended up with, they were more expensive than any pair of shoes I currently owned.  Fast forward and we now have four children with another on the way.  I was recently introduced to the company, Freshly Picked, who offer gorgeous 100% Genuine Leather Moccasins.  While the price is close to what I paid for our first son’s sneakers, the quality, style, and comfort available from Freshly Picked is far superior.

I have to admit that I love shoes on babies and toddlers.  Not only do they serve the purpose of keeping those little socks on, they are extremely adorable.  When I received our Freshly Picked Moccasins, I was immediately impressed with the look and feel.  They are even cuter in person than the photographs.  They have an elastic band that makes them extremely easy to get on but, yet, our son has not figured out how to get them off!

The Freshly Picked Moccasins are so universal that they can be worn dressed up for church or casual for running errands or hanging out at home.  I chose a neutral color for dual purposes.  This way, it would match all our son’s clothing and I can also use for our upcoming baby since brown can be for a girl or boy.

I can only say good things about these moccasins.  We have worn them indoors and out and they are holding up well.  They seem to be comfortable for our son as he doesn’t pay them any mind once they are on.  He can run, climb, and play easily in them because they have a soft flexible sole, and they are just so cute.  I seriously would love a pair in each color!
