I received products from Wonder Forge for my review. All opinions are my own.
Wonder Forge is one of my favorite “go to” places for family board games. Our family’s three generations play a lot of board and card games and we always like to find new ones to try.
For my review, Wonder Forge graciously provided me with three games….Disney’s Frozen Matching game, Marvel’s Matching game, and Disney’s Planes Sky Race action game.
Both of the matching games are geared toward children 3 years of age and older. The Sky Race action game is intended for children 4 years and older.
I was able to watch a 5 and 7 year olds play the Disney Frozen Matching game and they were all having so much fun not only playing the game but also talking about the Frozen movie at the same time…and singing the songs. I actually heard bursts of laughter as the game progressed.
The Marvel Matching game includes characters such as Loki, Doctor Octopus, Electro, Captain Marvel, Hulk…and the list goes on. My nephew is a Marvel fan. I can’t wait to beat, I mean play, this game with him!
These matching games teach the players to use their memory skills, patience, and ability to keep a secret when they know where the matches are and they need to wait until it’s their turn. It’s a game that all ages can enjoy and no one has an upper edge on the other player because I’ve found the younger the player is, sometimes the better the memory!
The Sky Race action game consists of 4 soft foam gliders, bases, control tiles, scoring tokens, etc. Everything you need to create your own course with your favorite racing plane (Dusty, Ripslinger, Ishani or El Chupacabra). This is an exciting game and one that many age groups can enjoy. So far, we have played in a large open room free of breakable items. We’re waiting for a rain-free day in Oregon so we can launch our aircraft outside.
Wonder Forge has a large collection of games on their website. You may also connect with them on facebook and twitter.
Hello, my name is Laurie. My family and I live near the Oregon coast. When we aren’t at work, in school, or on the volleyball court, we enjoy traveling, cheering for our favorite sports teams, playing outdoors, and checking off items on our bucket list. We are lucky in that both sets of our parents, as well as our siblings and their families, live within an hour of us. We get together often to help one another out, celebrate milestones, and go on adventures together.

So fun! Especially the Frozen one! Frozen is loved by all right now. 🙂

I grew up reading my dad’s old Marvel comics from the 60’s. I have always been a fan of matching games, so I think the Marvel game would be a big hit in our house!

I first read about this company last year and every game I’ve seen, I just love. You can’t go wrong with anything Disney or superhero-like. I love Marvel and DC Comics, so love these selections.
These look like great games for kids. Not only fun but a great way to sneak in learning.
