I have a case of what I call “the Mondays”. I did not want to get out of bed this morning. My week’s schedule is packed full. I have school obligations with my daughters, work I need to do around the house in preparation for an open house, I need to finish gathering items for a garage sale we are getting ready for and I have blog work waiting for me. On top of all of that, we are feeling the loss of a family member.
When I finally pulled myself out of bed this morning, I knew I wanted a casual and comfortable outfit. The weather in Oregon is supposed to be transitioning from rain to unseasonably warm temperatures. This meant that my OOTD needed to allow for a mixture of rain sprinkles, warming temperatures and muggy conditions. I chose my new top and necklace set from YesStyle, my favorite Vigoss jeans and my ultra-comfortable booties.
My top is the Long-Sleeve Eyelet-Lace Panel Top from Tokyo Fashion. The gray material has a soft soothing t-shirt feeling to it. The white lace panels add a classic feminine look to the top. The top is lightweight, has a nice flow and can easily be dressed-up or worn more casually.
I wanted subtle accessories today. I wore a Dual Necklace set from Miss Girl. This set of necklaces is yellow gold in color. They are approximately 27.2” in length. The two chains are attached together at both ends.
This outfit was just what I needed to get my week going. I hope you all have a blessed week.

Hello, my name is Laurie. My family and I live near the Oregon coast. When we aren’t at work, in school, or on the volleyball court, we enjoy traveling, cheering for our favorite sports teams, playing outdoors, and checking off items on our bucket list. We are lucky in that both sets of our parents, as well as our siblings and their families, live within an hour of us. We get together often to help one another out, celebrate milestones, and go on adventures together.
I am in Oregon too!! I am sorry to hear about your loss. That is always hard to deal with. I wish that you pamper yourself between all these busy things to do. My husband just took a fall and he was rushed to Emanuel hospital for trauma surgery. He now has a plate and screws in his head. He is lucky he didn’t break his neck! You just never know what is going to happen next. You look lovely in your outfit.
