These are my own honest opinions.
If you are like me, you probably have thousands of digital photos that do nothing except sit in your computer. Nobody sees them, except you maybe when you decide to organize them and delete a few. I decided a while ago that I really wanted to see these great photos that I take. I wanted to fill out walls with pictures of my daughters, our family, our fun outings. But then came the realization that large prints, especially canvas prints are terribly expensive…
Who can realistically afford to get a couple large prints that will cost them over $250 to place on a wall? People over at The Canvas Factory get that we want beautiful high-quality prints but we also want to pay a reasonable price. And that’s exactly what they offer! I was able to order a large 16 x 20 canvas print for the third of the price I saw on another canvas printing website.
The Canvas Factory makes it very easy for you to create beautiful artwork for your home. They also make great presents to grandparents.
First, you select ‘create your own’ if you want to use your own photos. You can also choose ‘canvas art’ if you want to create something using some of their 20 million high quality images. To help you find exactly what you are looking for, pictures are sorted in different styles such as urban, japanese, retro, and different categories such as abstract, nature, and people.
Then you select the material: canvas, acrylic glass, or aluminum. You also choose if you want your image printed on a single canvas, on multiples canvas, or if you want to create a display wall with many different pictures. From there, you can select the size of the print you want. For the single canvas alone, there is over 25 possibilities, ranging from 12” x 8” all the way to 30” x 40”!
There are many more ways to customize your canvas. You can choose how you want the image to wrap around the canvas, add an effect (inverted colors, sepia, etc.). The whole process is very straight forward and easy. I doesn’t take more than a few minutes from beginning to end.
I was very impressed with the final result. The printing quality is outstanding and the colors are true to my original digital photo. The picture was carefully wrapped and attached to the canvas and looks as professional as any canvas you can get at your local photography store.
I also like that Canvas Factory does not settle for poor quality materials. They use a matte cotton that has a GSM count of 360 to which they added a special coating to make it resistant to damage from water, dust, and UV light. This means your printed canvas will remain as beautiful as the day your receive it in the mail for years and years. I’m definitely hooked to this easy and beautiful way to finally get my photos out of my computer and onto my walls!

I certainly wouldn’t call their work “high quality.” Their printing is done in China and my order took almost 3 weeks to arrive. I ordered two prints and was very disappointed in the quality of both. The prints looked really flat and lacked the detail and color that was in the photos (the photos I sent them were very high resolution). The prints were useless to me and I ended up having to re-0rder from another site.

I agree with Mjack. Don’t order from them.
It’s a fake scheme company. They’re based in Australia, ship from China and have an address in Chicago. The Chicago address is actually right near my apartment and it’s not a real office building. I would never have ordered if I knew it would go through customs or if they didn’t have a phone number to even call.
I hope the better business bureau looks into them so they can stop screwing people over.
With the hundred other canvas companies out there I wish someone told me to look elsewhere!

Ordered on 1/25…still hasnt delivered. I certainly would not recommend Canvas Factory. Customer Service has been non-responsive. At this point, I just want my money back. If my post helps change a single persons mind about using this company, I did my job. If you decide to risk it and order through them anyway, just remember, you were warned.

Really bad service in handling print, unable to adjust two simple images, customer service, reprint, updating information regards order and delivery. Even the print is good I would avoid any contact.

I have designed this collage image using our overseas photos with my husband. I was planning to give it to him on his coming birthday. I have placed a border around the image in order to avoid bolt holes coinciding with the photos. I paid over a $80 for my order to canvas factory and the product that I received was very disappointing. Not only the border disappeared but so many images around the edges has been cut off . In 1 photo my head is chopped off and you can only see the top of my hat. In another one my husband got a big bolt hole in the middle of his face due to border has been cut of which were designed to avoid holes around it. I see more photos not in the canvas too. When I contacted them, first reply was pleasant and promising to satisfy customer. More emails exchanged and I start to feel that I will not receive what I uploaded to their site and what I envisioned. Still waiting a reply from them but not hoping much. So.. if you planning for a special occasion I would suggest you to contact the company first in order to find out if they can deliver the product the way you desire.

If you’re looking to have a “snap shot” printed on canvas these guys might be able to handle it but if you’re looking for anything semi professional and backed up by customer service you will be very disappointed. Imagine your photograph being run through the washing machine a couple of times washing out the contrast and vivid colors, that’s what you can expect. I have received my last 5 orders with NO hangers at all after being promised that they send spares with my next shipment the 36″ X 24″ print arrived without hangers. Sending an E-mail is worthless as they never respond. The worst customer service I have encountered.
I want one!
