I love Christmas but sometimes the gift giving, or actually buying, can be difficult.  When I am on the search for a gift and struggling to come up with any ideas, I tend to go practical.  I love practical gifts personally and I know a lot of others do too.  I came across the company, Core Bamboo, who offers a great variety of organically grown bamboo, handmade products.  They combine practical with function and style and would definitely make a great gift under the tree this year.

I received a variety of products from Core Bamboo.  While I truly do like all my Core Bamboo products, I do have a few favorites/must haves that I want to highlight.  I am so happy to have these beautiful and practical pieces in my kitchen and many get used daily.

The first thing I opened was the Large Expandable Flatware Tray.  No matter how often I tried to organize our silverware drawer, our current plastic tray was just not cutting it.  Since the Core Bamboo tray expands, (18” x 13” x 2” – Expands to 18” x 21” x 2”), I was hopeful that I would have enough storage and spaces to be a bit more organized.  Thankfully, I was right.  We love this tray and our drawer has been able to stay neat and tidy since we started using it!  Plus, the bamboo tray looks so much more chic and polished.

The Round Bamboo Salt Box and Modern Oval Utensil Holder are both on the counter tops next to my stove.  Previously, I had my celtic sea salt up in the cupboard but I use it daily at breakfast and then multiple times a week while baking so it was very inconvenient having it up high.  Now, it’s just an arms length away at all times.  The cover is attached and just slides open for use.  Very handy.

Since I do a lot of home cooked meals and baking for my family, I am always reaching for a spoon.  It’s been so nice having them right next to the stove in the Modern Oval Utensil Holder.  It’s a beautiful piece that serves its purpose well.
